The Magic Lawnmower Tale
-- Part II --

Here is Dad, putting the wheelchair and the lawnmower together for the first time, and checking how we are going to hold them together. That took quite a bit of work also, and Dad and Jed drove down to the mechanic shop where a bar was welded behind Jed's wheelchair by a very nice man.

It takes quite a bit of work to get a little machine going and to make a dream come true, but Jed was determined, Mom and Dad were supportive, and a lot of nice people like Chuck and the mechanic were met along the way. So it was worth every minute of it!

And here we are, that's how it looks when it is finally ready to go to the first job. Look at that little red thing! Oh yes, it has been a long, long wait, but here it is, as nice as it was in Jed's dreams. But it is not a dream anymore, the little red lawnmower is really here now.

One more view, from the back this time, so you can have a good look. Pretty tales are always too short anyway. Here is Nathan, Jed's little brother, on the right side.

Now, before we close the chapter, we still have one more thing to do...

Oh yes, one more thing to do. One more picture to take, a picture to say thank you to Chuck and to all the people at Promow, to all the people who have been helping Jed to realize his dream.

And so, little boys make big dreams, big dreams become little red lawnmowers, and little red lawnmowers make magic.

Did you think this was really a fairy tale? Well, it does sound like it, but there are no fairies. Much better though, there is a real Chuck, a real mechanic, a very real Williams family, and above all, there is a courageous and detemined 14-year old teenager called Jed who had a dream, and said :"Let's do it!!!"

The End...
